In the form of half dome, built from hundreds of irregular chunks of pale green glass, individually wired to a metal grid by hand. When illuminated, most of the light is distributed through the dome with a wash of light up the wall, creating a warm glow. In good vintage condition with one chunk of glass missing from the bottom of one of the sconces, this is not noticeable in situ due to location and nature of it's design.
