A rare antique apothecary jar from Puglia, dating to the 19th century. Beautifully hand-thrown and finished in a soft cream glaze with delicate stamped and hand-painted blue floral motifs. The jar features two wavy shaped handles, a flared base and a finial topped lid.

Originally used in a pharmacy or herbalist’s workshop, this jar would have stored medicinal herbs or tinctures. Displays a charming aged patina, speaking to its authentic utilitarian past and age.

Sourced in Puglia, Italy.
