An extraordinary Christmas gift. These are original 1825 hand-coloured constellation engravings from Urania’s Mirror, one of the most desirable celestial works ever published, by renowned English cartographer Sidney Hall.

These charts were created 200 years ago for education purposes, to bring the night sky to life through exquisite artistry and scientific precision.

Each chart features a different constellation, beautifully hand-coloured, with fine engraved star positions and mythological figures. Each chart displays the constellation punched with tiny holes, so when held up to a light source, the stars would “shine”.
