A characterful antique southern Italian footed bowl, dating to the late 19th–early 20th century. Hand-painted in earthy tones of ochre yellow, green, and brown, the bowl features a fish motif in a naive folkloric style. There’s great scale to this piece and will make an excellent serving bowl or simply decorative.
It’s in good antique condition, featuring surface wear and small nibbles to the rim which are consistent with age and use.
