A bold solid oak French low armchair in the manner of Charles Dudouyt, circa 1940s. Featuring a rope seat and displaying strong architectural presence with its turned legs, ball finials and sculptural arms. In good vintage condition, previous signs of a little bit of woodworm that has been treated.
