A substantial French Art Deco walnut burr cabinet, circa 1930s. Burr veneer with real movement and warmth. Three sections with saw-toothed runners for adjustable shelving. Splayed tapered feet rise from a recessed plinth, giving the cabinet a lifted, grounded stance. Original brass escutcheons and 3 working keys, one is damaged. There is a very slight green cast over the veneer, a natural product of authentic ageing. Good condition, slight veneer lift to the rear top and a knock to the front left foot, not visible in situ. At home in a living space or dining room.
