A beautiful and characterful pair of low oak armchairs by French designer Charles Dudouyt, dating to the 1940s. Each chair features a bold oak frame with turned spherical finials and a generously proportioned handwoven rush seat. These would look fantastic positioned together in a living space or bedroom. In very good condition, sturdy with the rush still intact. They display patina relative to their age.
