A Swedish candle sconce signed MP to the reverse circa 1940s–50s. A tall shield form backplate with scalloped edge and hand hammered ground, decorated with stylised ahnd engraved tulip motifs at top and bottom and a smooth oval in the centre which reflects the candlelight. In good vintage condition, with warm aged patina to the brass.
