Antique Bevelled Convex Sorcerers Mirror

A very special and rare Victorian sorcerers mirror. Displaying a shield shape and reverse convex optics around the edge with double bevelled detailing, which distort light and reflections. It was believed that these mirrors were designed to create a mystical atmosphere and the production of these was very limited. I've not come across one in this shape, they are usually oval so this one is especially unique.

It's in good condition considering it's age, there is foxing to the plate which only adds to it's charm. Some of the led frame has been bent in the bottom corners and is coming away slightly at the bottom, and there are a couple of small scratches on the plate - these blemishes are barely noticeable and do not affect the mirrors structure. This does not take away from the special feel of this piece.
